Character Questionnaire Part 1
September 15, 2012 - 12:42PM
1. What is this character's name? Sex? Background?
Monroe Cawfee: Male
Charlie Cremar: Male Brian Keurig: Male Coco Sheffield: Female Mara Tetley: Female 2. What is his age? Monroe: 36 Charlie: 38 Brian: 26 Coco: 34 Mara: 23 3. Where does he live? Describe the place: urban? Rural? House? Apartment? Large or small? Neat or cluttered? Monroe: Small one room, one bathroom place. Neat only because he owns few things. Climate is usually cold and dry. One window overlooking a street. One unusual thing is that its a hospital room. Charlie: Two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom corner apartment with a rather large living room/kitchen area with a small balcony that wraps around the building connecting the master bedroom to the living room. Brian: Three bedroom, two bathroom apartment that he shares with three other people. Has a wonderful view of the alley way between their building and the apartment building next to it. The communal areas are all kept neat, but for the individual rooms its a whole other story. Coco: Lives a few small towns over in an old suburb full on tiny houses. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room and kitchen are separate from each other. Keeps her home fairly neat, but there are plenty stacks of things around her home. Mara: Above the book store she works at along with the owner and one other employee. She has to keep her room clean as part of the condition of being allowed to live there. 4. Describe your character's significant relationships. Is there a spouse? Children? Who does she live with? Love? Emulate? Envy? Who is dependent on him? Who annoys her? Monroe: Highly anti-social, but does have a good relationship with the head of the hospital he lives in and the mans family especially Mara who he will often feign annoyance at but is honestly touched by her efforts to help him. Has become part of a strained supernatural mystery solving trio with Charlie and Brian. Charlie: Isnt entirely trusting of Cawfee because of the way they met. Has a good work relationship with Brian, sometimes hangs out with him after work or picks up meals with them if theyre on the job at the same time. Currently/will be dating Coco Sheffield. Brian: Basically friends with all his apartment-mates, spends a lot off not working time with them. Had a short dating period with one of them, but it didnt last long and they split up on friendly terms. If not them, its Charlie who he hangs out with. Has taken up a habit of doing his best to pester Cawfee in a way to try and get him to lighten up. Coco: Met Charlie at a social event that she was at as a journalist. Neither of them had been enjoying themselves and they ended up leaving to buy burgers. Their personalities clash a bit, but not in a negative way. Mara: Cawfee is kind of like an uncle to her. She takes very much after her real father in her determination to try and help Cawfee recover in all ways from what happened to him. 5. Describe how this character looks physically. When you look at him, what do you notice first? Face, hands, body. Monroe: 6 4, an incredibly unhealthy level of skinny, and much older looking than he really is especially with the streak of white hair he has. If it werent for his sideburns and hair you could probably makes his skull out clearly. Charlie: 5 9, somewhat fit with a straight build and wavy blond hair that is usually combed to the left. Brian: 5 7, with very broad shoulders but a significantly smaller waist, and on the more defined side of fit. Six pack abs and all that. Coco: 5 7, a bit on the tall side when it comes to women, with a fairly straight torso but some impressive hips. Mara: 4 9, takes after her mother in being short and the very curvy kind of chubby. Has a bit of an obsession in dying her hair at least two very distinct colours.
Pokemon group art challenge.
June 22, 2012 - 12:53PM
Pokemon group art challenge adventure anyone? I'm still working out how it should work, but how it would follow the basic progression of the first game like this:
Set one: 1. Introduce yourself and your starter pokemon. 2. Dont forget to stop by Prof. Oaks lab before you leave town. 3. Now that youve got your Pokedex, onward to Route 1! Set two: 1. Lots of tall grass, and a few people hanging around. Something interesting mustve happened. 2. Is that Viridian City up ahead? Better hurry up before another wild pokemon decides to come after you. 3. After that short adventure, youd probably better stop by the local pokemon center. Set three: 1. Now that your Pokemon is all better, better hit up the Pokemart and get supplies. Youve heard Viridian Forest is pretty rough for beginners. 2. Theres a gym in town. As a trainer you should probably check that out right? 3. Turn out the leader is out of town. Too bad, might as well move on to- who is that old man waving his cane at you? And each person would have their own tumblr to answer on, but there would be a main tumblr where each week a new set of things to draw/write about were given. I say one set of 'challenges' a week to give people time to think and draw. So a big fun group exercise in drawing people, creatures, and environments. And scattered through the sets are certain events where we can battle other participants, or when you're allowed to catch a new pokemon.
Had an idea, but I'm not sure about it.
June 14, 2012 - 8:54AM
As you might or might know I'm kind of working on a story. The main-ish character is Cawfee and he has a sister called Coco as of right now.
I had the idea to make it so Charlie is dating her. Except, I kind of want her to be a reporter on a newspaper or news blog or something and that seems cliche. A press agent in a relationship with a cop. How she ends up in the same city as her brother, not sure yet? Ends up in town for a week to report on something, meets Charlie. It just seems like a good way to get her into the story for me though.
Life without a tablet pen is HORRID.
April 12, 2012 - 8:33AM
I misplace my tablet pen a lot, but that's only slightly true. I have five specific areas I place it and then I forget which place I put it.
It is in none of those places, I haven't seen it for four days, and I haven't found it sitting anywhere else in my house. I'm afraid I might have left it in my back pocket when I went for a walk. Worst part is a new one costs about 70 not counting whatever shipping costs there might be.
Art Trades
