Her end here: http://anniemsson.deviantart.com/art/Boogle-and-the-Ghosties-269790092 This was a super fun trade with one of my favorite MLP artists from a while ago. |

I did these in March when my boyfriend was visiting family alone (went a whole week without seeing each other, otherwise we've not spent a single day apart for over a year now XD) Our cats are a little... different when it comes to how they act at bedtime. :P
...clowns sleep in their face paint, didn't you know that? >_> |

2 year old pic of Boogle slimed. This was shortly before trying the high-quality slime from bodyslime.com :> It's amazing. I dyed it green.

Did these as an example of my $25 bust/waist-up commissions.

(something new, for a change.)
I'm not typically fond of drawing the Gromble out of character, but Boogle isn't really a human, so maybe the Gromble wouldn't be repulsed by her. Actually she IS a monster (penanggalan) and her "human" body is just a doll form... and considering Gromble once accepted a human-looking monster named Blastoog... maybe the Gromble -could- actually love her in reality and would provide her comfort... *sigh* |

The top left and bottom right roaches are supposed to represent beauty, resiliency, intricacy, strength and frailty - which is how I see roaches. The top right and bottom left look more scary, intimidating, monstrous, creepy and slimy - which is how other people tend to see roaches. Done in 2009.

This is from about a year ago.
This girl is part of a comic I HOPE to begin working on as soon as possible with Scythemantis! We've got several ideas swirling around. I'm still not sure on Hypatia. I was also thinking Heul, which is the Dutch word for consolation, which works since she's similar to Molly Coddle from Bump in the Night in that she's much like a comfort doll. :3 |

archiblatta hoeveni is a species of cockroach that I've been longing for for so many years, but they're only found in Malaysia and are apparently difficult to keep and breed. They are beautiful, exotic and rare.
Photo of one: http://www.pest2000.it/Foto/Blatte/Archiblatta02.jpg Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQDrjZNigeU Their defensive fluids are loaded with phenols. They are supposedly quite slow-moving and don't really have a smell unless they're spraying you. Speaking of roaches... I have a video of one of the species I keep on my front page now, and many more posted to my YouTube. My hissing cockroach birth video was featured on Animal Planet's Weird, True & Freaky once, though I find it silly how they portrayed them and other animals on that show. |

The penanggalan/doll/clown rests her innards in a pile of unwanted pillows and toys while sipping moldy tea, with her roach friends tickling her innards as they crawl around in her noxious slime. This is where this monster finds her happiness.
Something I haven't posted anywhere. Figured I could at least post some Nabyn-exclusive things in between the slew of old junk. I suck at profiles :S |

Oh well, at least she has him in plushie form...

Boogle dressed as Gromble's most beloved plushie possession. Only serious RM fans will get it x3

"This bendy enough?"
I thought this came out looking a bit like an old-timey photo of Boogle showing off, so I built a little story in my mind about contortionists and how the heck they get into the Circus in the first place. Surely there are some sort of try-outs? XD Well anyway... I figure she might get points taken off for that shabby excuse of a stained and torn outfit :P Old art from 2008. I'll be uploading a few of my favorites first. Boogle copyright Bethany-Anne Van Scott. |

In my imaginary world I've had all my life, I've always had insects represent nurturing parental figures. Boogle's mother here is a wise and gentle creature. Incapable of harming anyone in this form, she is a source of comfort when I'm feeling alone and a source of wisdom when I feel lost.
