Razor
The middle child of the bunch. The oldest is Jake, youngest is Ash. - Razor hates Ash, He mad at Jake - Jake was prince but didn't want the title. Instead of giveing it to the next oldest ( which is razor ) he gave it to Ash ( the baby of the groupe ) - Razor tries each day to get ride of his brother. Some days he just lays there. (( this is to another pic btw... ) |

That she is trying to catch it, but she cannot. She believed that she have to catch it if she want to beat the disease. That was her goal. A Work In Progress of Elloe. She looks way better than Ravexel does...so much so that I may redo Ravexel XD
Anyway, I'm putting this up here because I really REALLY like it for one, and I wanted you guys to see the full blown ...new? Better? coloring style before I try to attempt to cover her in armor. Armor is something I've never really done before so It's possible she'll look like poo afterwards. I also wanted to show you guys this so you know I've not been sitting on my bum doing nothing. Took about a week and half or so on and off. It's shaded, lineless, and has more colors than I care to count (not just the ones pictured). There are places where the fur direction doesn't make complete sense, some places I just hate (I don't like how the feet look), and some places that could use some improvements (like the hands, but hands are hard yo!). I do hope there's enough difference between colors in those places that you can tell what's what. I'm hoping she looks 'realistic' in a general sense. No, I'm not sure what I mean by that. I feel a little bad that I haven't uploaded Ratha Challenge art this month. My current work has revolved around the visually mundane, but nonetheless important task of making consistent, proportionate, realistic characters. I've been studying cat anatomy, from skeletons to deep muscles to superficial muscles and pelts. I've been going back to our character designs to check their anatomy against what I've learned. And because we get to see Ratha grow up throughout this story, we're carefully planning her physical development (I gotta admit, this part is *really* fun!). :D Sooo... here's a take on the scene in the first sample panel that I reworked last fall. I like Ratha's body language and expression, but I already realized my interpretation of her is too mature for when this scene takes place. She's still got a lot of growing up to do! I also want to point you to a really useful tool when photoshop-style painting (Image to Color Palette Generator): http://www.cssdrive.com/imagepalette/index.php I found some images of redwood forests that had the colors I wanted to work in, dropped them into this magic generator, and got a set of swatches to put in my Color Swatches folder (on my Mac it's located in /Users/me/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop Elements 9/Presets). I still create and add new colors, but this gives me a nice range (a.k.a. gamut) to work in. |

Info: Carnivorous (Mili, Tamati) - The majority of lycanthropes strive to remain in this category. Maintaining a diet rife with raw meat when in human form is known to keep beastly urges at bay while shifted. While these wolves still battle their beasts' lust for territory and human flesh, the urges are easier to manage, as the consumption of meat soothes the ever-present bloodlust. It is not uncommon for carnivorous werewolves to band together into family packs - the sense of camaraderie also keeps the members in touch with their humanity. They are typically between 7 and 8 feet tall, depending on sex and varying with the amount of meat in an individual's diet. Maneater (Vincenzo) - An unfortunately common breed, the maneater has succumbed to his beast's desires and begun hunting human prey. Victims are found ripped to shreds but largely present; what the wolf is really after is the heart. A lycan who dines on human flesh is larger and stronger than the other breeds, often reaching ten feet when erect. They hunt with a single-mindedness driven by their addiction to human hearts - the fight-or-flight instinct has largely been replaced by fight-and-kill, and they are indiscriminate in their hunger. One particularly prevalent maneater, active from his turning in 1965 until he was finally killed in 1983, is credited with slaughtering an entire hunting party (12 trained men and women, all in the same night). They are typically loners, since all other breeds count enough as human to be counted among prey. |

hmmmm apparently the only exception to my crippling artblock is werewolves????? Ill take it.
So Ive only drawn Vico like three times since his creation in 2010, and never his werewolf form, so thisll probably be part of his first ~official reference~. Even the resident psychopath needs a proper profile. He doesnt look quite beaslty enough so Ill emphasize the horror aspect a bit more as I continue work, I think. |

A character design I am working on. I kinda like it, might keep it or I might sell it. Gonna make a side view to show leg markings and such. Might give some good back markings since i made a point of drawing the back showing.

Well, the title is pretty much self explanatory. ^-^ This is for a dA group I'm in for called The Golden Butterfly, they're not open right now though. ^-^ It's a more realistic piece, but I'm very happy with it so far! Feel free to give critiques though I'm in a rush so no major changes can be made, sorry! ^^;
