Noclore has changed considerably since her first doodle. Ive removed her from the head-world she used to share with Copernicus, so Im no longer concerned with keeping her species biology realistic. Shes part of my supernatural sandbox now! >:D |

I drew my OC Aidan a.k.a Lucky with quick coloring. I tried to draw his hair from the front. I was actually pretty happy with the drawing until I flipped it backwards. I tried to fix it in SAI. Oh well. XD

Okay, you can have a humanoid version of my Pokemon Milotic named Clair from my Pokemon Black 2 game. This is one of my favorite Gen III Pokemon. Yes, this is a dude.
Its very uncreative but I just put it together in a few hours. I didnt want to overwork it too much though. |

Map for Illustration 3! We were allowed to do a map of anything so long as it included illustration, so I picked New Caledonia because that's where my little crested gecko Gooby hails from. I've been using a new technique where I'll create ink drawings in real life and then scan them in, use the livetrace feature in Illustrator to isolate the lineart, and then finish the piece digitally, and it gets some great results. Nice blend of traditional and digital for me, I also created the watercolour textures I used on the piece so that was another nice way to incorporate my traditional work into it.

HEY! All my data got erased in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD for the 360. Since I simply cannot catch peoples attention using only words, I whipped up this ATTENTION-CAPTURING piece.
I WANT TO PLAY THE REST OF THE GAME WITH OTHER PEOPLE. I WANT TO PLAY WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR, DAMMIT. AND BRING THAT EFFING MIC WITH YOU. Im around the Pupa-battle. Ive already played through the game twice before, and its getting pretty bland right now. So yeah. Plzzzz message me. I DONT WANT TO BE ALONE ANYMORE :C And my tags K0DiKILLER. These were really fun, and for all but two of these characters it was my first time coloring them, so I got to make up entirely new palettes based on their personality. Drawn on paper and digitally colored, all character designs and art belong to me. Enjoy! |

So the portrait I was working so hard on last night is gone for good. Though I'm still really pissed with myself and all that jazz, I had to upload something so I made a really shitty character sheet for Bastion from some doodles in my sketchbook.

The "working cover" for my current adventure in trying-to-write-a-reasonably-not-halfassed-novel, which is all about transformation, werecreatures, alien diseases and saving the world (haha I make it sound so much better than it actually is).
This is Blink, the reluctant heroine; she WAS a robot, until she crash-landed on a derelict world and a friend turned her "human" (well, laima) to save her life. She's... getting used to it, I guess? _ The wings are a silly metaphor; her nickname is Bee, and that always appealed to my sense of pun. Hence... Honeybee. Probably doesn't help that I have a species of sentient, evolved bees (called "danata") in it either. |

My best friend bought me shrinkable plastic for Christmas so I decided to make keychains. Valkenhayn and Julie (the demoness) were a present. Currently Valk is on Valk plush's collar and the other will be a necklace.
But yeah, I had fun with these! I'll be making more in the future... or maybe braclets. |

Because I use a calligraphy brush and ink for more of my work these days I've become interested in Youji Shikawa's art style. This week I won an "Art of Metal Gear Solid" art book signed by Shinkawa-sensei, and have been studying his presentation style.
I don't think I'll pursue - I don't want to be an imitator - but it was a fun exercise, and I learned a lot. |
