Day 14
IT'S A CHICKADEE DEE DEE DEE
WOW sorry guys! I kinda poofed there! I've drawn a few things since I last posted, but I'll just pick up here, and if you're super curious, everything's on my DA <__<.

BUT YES. Art trade with Lycisca on DA! Featuring her characters Oberon and Rivet. And SPACE. Mmmmmmmmily way. Yes.
I was planning on a long description but im not going to :3 So I will start out saying I really need to practice waves more as these are not good. Other than that I love how this came out. No this guy is not a dragon but a demon sea serpent. One of Mirages larger demons, he created this guy so he could easily sink something as large as a tanker ship. I originally had Kura in this for a size comparison and something for him to roar at but not matter how many times I placed her it didn't look right so I just left her out. So imagine him roaring at something if you want XD Also those things on his sides are large fins not wings.

Finished commission for seraiwolf
Gift for my mum for Mother's Day. She's actually getting it TONIGHT cause we both WORK all day on mother's day :[ But oh well...

I'm not even really sure if she likes butterflies I usually do a horse. I was actually planning this one for my grandmother, when I started thinking maybe my mum might like it instead...I have no clue why.

Interesting experiment with the wet on wet. I need a lot more practice with that technique. These past four paintings were a great excersize.

Both a Mother's Day and Thank You gift to my great aunt, who has been an inspiration and mentor to my art as long as I can remember. She's a professional artist, and my go to when I need help or advice. She does a lot of drawings and paintings of native americans, so I thought a painted pony would be good for her.

In contrast to my past two ponies, I thought I'd do this one in a red theme, which included doing the shading and dark points in sepia instead of paynes grey (not really red, but still warmer than paynes is), and I really like the way it turned out.

Thanks to Boarfeathers for showing me how to do the cling wrap trick on the background.

This one is for my Aunt for mother's day. Usually we just call, because when I HAVE stuff to send to my west coast family, I forget. Until I find them months later. But since I'm going to see them at the end of this week, I thought it would be a fun gift (and an excuse to do a bit of painting).

Really like the way the background turned out on this...The dolphins came out alright too, for being an uncommon subject for me.

Mother's Day gift for my grandmother. She's a hobby painter herself, and prefers landscapes, still life and flowers to my fantasy critters and animals, sooo...I tried some flowers. Its been a long time since I did flowers for anything.

My very first character ever created was Takara. At the time she was a Cheetah x Lion hybrid... Some time later she became merely a strangely colored cheetah. A year after her creation I had created Tak (my mouse character) and Takara pretty much got tossed in the dirt and forgotten...

Tak is still my main, but lets face it, i Miss Takara, and i feel bad for kicking her out :C
So here is her rebooted design....

This was art-therapy...because i FUCKINGLOVE digitally painting rocks.....but it did get a little out of hand...TO MUCH ROCK is a bad thing..as it happens

Also: Here is my FIRST picture of Takara ever: Click Here!

Call this a remake, showing how things have changed for me, and my art...

from this we learn: I used to be happy, and spent less time on backgrounds
Finished badge commission for :iconshortcake: of their SUPER AWESOME adorable Boston Terrier character Charlotte. I really hope you like it! ^_^ Thank you so much.
