I haven't drawn myself cheery and stuff in a very long while, so y'know, I just thought it'd be good to do something a little more cheerful than I've been doing lately.
After a few conversations with ladysnakebite, I've started experimenting with a different method of blocking colors in. As in actually blocking colors in at first. Once I get used to it, I think this could be faster than my previous method of doing things, and a lot less muddy. Anyways, hope you like! |

I was planning on a long description but im not going to :3 So I will start out saying I really need to practice waves more as these are not good. Other than that I love how this came out. No this guy is not a dragon but a demon sea serpent. One of Mirages larger demons, he created this guy so he could easily sink something as large as a tanker ship. I originally had Kura in this for a size comparison and something for him to roar at but not matter how many times I placed her it didn't look right so I just left her out. So imagine him roaring at something if you want XD Also those things on his sides are large fins not wings.

OKAY I HAVE SOME ART.
This is Matron, real name Ms Marlene Bussini. She has a habit of adopting troubled youngsters and street dwellers into her large manor, which was given to her by her late husband just before he passed away due to illness. Matron was tragically never able to conceive and this may be the factor that attributes to her desire to take in poor and sick children, where she will nourish and educate them until they are old enough to build their own futures. Nearly all of the children, due to the love and care they received, have grown up to be fine young adults and many of them have jobs and families of their own. Matron has been named Godmother countless times to the children of those she cared for, and her kindness has earned her a popular reputation. On the side, Matron owns a small inn and the money earned from travellers goes towards helping the needy. Basically she is mother to everyone. |

Owen was on a ship and acting like himself. Like a jerk. He pissed off some sailors and they tossed him overboard. Owen thought that was the end for sure. His fire would go out and he would not get out of this one. What he did not know was that Ophidius Slith was also on the ship. Ophidius had found out that Owen had become a gifted after attaining his fire. Not only that but Thagirion wants him dead. Those are two good reasons to keep Owen alive and try to become his friend. So Ophidius casually leaps overboard too and takes the form of Quetzalcoatl the demon snake, before he hits the water. He pulls him out, that under bite comes in handy for carrying things like bodies as well as for preening feathers. This looks vicious and yes he's totally capable of eating him. But that's not what he wants. He's being gentle and carries him carefully over the angry north Atlantic waves. Also his python head is nonvenomous. Had he wanted to kill Owen he'd have used one of his other heads.
But Quetzalcoatl isn't designed for long distance flights or fighting storms. He has the short rounded wings of a forest bird. Agility and short flights are what he's good at. The nearest land is Iceland and he heads for it hoping he'll make it. Owen's totally passed out. His fire is dangerously low and it's raining. This took me a long time to make. The scales on the viper once again gave me a huge hard time. |

Meet Alexander Malidiucs. He is my husband's original werewolf character that I have been using in my stories with Ophidius Slith. The two are best friends and spent centuries together pulling all sorts of evil and deadly pranks.
Ophidius Slith, his best friend who is really the demon god Quetzalcoatl. I'm so glad I am finally done with this. This was meant to be a birthday gift for him back in October. I drew it, but only just now got around to finishing the colors on him. So late happy birthday babes. It's my first time drawing a werewolf. I hope I will get better at it. |
