This if for one of my comics, Corruption. We decided to make a small clipping in a newspaper on top of also showing scenes on character's TVs about one of the first events that happens in the comic - which happens to be a bombing/shooting/basically spree killing done by two characters [Holden and Luke Vallon] We're still toying with the comic as a whole, but we're getting a shit ton done.

So I got it into my head yesterday to draw a design for a Zane t-shirt. There were Redakai t-shirts made but none of them have Zane on. And I want a Zane one. Actually most of the Redakai stuff has Ky on it. Or the monsters. WHERE IS THE ZANE STUFF?? I have the Zane X-Drive and the other 3D Zane card they did and I'm getting a French book with Zane in....that I won't be able to read cos I can't understand French but I know what happens in it anyway cos its based on one of the episodes....but that is pretty much the only Zane stuff I've found.
So I wanted to do this design for him in a cool pose (I reffed the pose from someone on dA who draws poses but I can't remember their name; I found them on a Google image search) and I wanted it to look as close to the show's style as possible. I wanted it to look authentic because I want it to look like an official shirt (my shirt designs have been mistaken for official before and that makes me very happy) and I am really proud of the outcome! But I couldn't decide whether or not I wanted his epic cloak so I have a verson with the cloak and one without. This is the one without (obviously) and the one with is the same but with the cloak on another layer. I haven't finished shading it yet. I still don't know which to use. I like this one. Since the cloak is the same red/brown as most of his outfit, he tends to merge into it a bit. But we'll see. The shirt will also have the Radikor logo on, which I have drawn out in vector and the Redakai logo to make it look real. I'll post a photo of the shirt when I get it printed. Zane won't be on this background, the shirt is just white. Its been a long time since I was as proud of a piece of my art as I am this. Hopefully it looks like an official image. I think it does :D |

Character for work in progress comic! Footpad, gunslinger, rustler, and all around outlaw in the Arizona territory in the 1880s. He also happens to be very... unlucky in his travels. Not entirely much to say about the guy right now, since he's still being worked on.. but he's quite the smartass, and steals just about anything to get by... including the clothes he's wearing and the gun he's using. |

This is a scene from one of my Ophidius stories. Meet George Smith. He's my newest character. Fourth in command of Hell and out to get Ophidius's #3 spot. Ophidius had never seen his human form so he was completely caught off guard and is not ready for this fight. He doesn't even know this guy's a demon. I will be drawing George's true form soon. Still working out the design for that. But he's massive as a human, and that strong silent type. Ophidius knows he's in big trouble, but because he's insane I love that he's more concerned about loosing his knife than his own safety. He says the wrong thing or tries to be funny, but he knows he's about to pay big time.
I'm very happy with how this turned out. Also, check out Ophidius's 1800's outfit! I'm liking it. Fun to draw him in something new but similar to his modern suit. He loves those colors. |

Commission for ~Cyberfish, who is seriously like, one of my best friends and one of my most talented idols. He wanted Smudi to be drawn like Mill (of my Synth species) so heee. His markings were fun to draw and design. They're pretty simple but I do love them. Especially those hands.
I did a sort of speed paint thing with this, and I really like how it turned out. Also- hooray for fixing my tablet. Holy HELL I was dying without it. It's still pretty iffy with me and has it's episodes, but for the most part, it works fine now... so I can actually art. Or whatever it is that I do with the damn thing lol. Painting number two! This was obviously just a recolor of the clothing, with added blood and glowing eyes. It wasn't really that simple, but at the same time it wasn't complicated. This is the original painting in comparison to the gif, and I'm rather proud of how these turned out. The mouth was off before I added teeth and it was definitely a learning experience. I hope to submit more paintings like this when I can actually sit down and find the time. My favorite part of this one is his face, but I also really love the way his leather jacket came out. The "GX" in the background is supposed to look spray-painted onto the wall, which was hard limiting myself to just SAI. No drabble this time, as much as I want to! Maybe I'll add one later? Anyway, this is, indeed, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX fanart. And for once, it's not in GX style! I told you guys I was back into GX! xD If it weren't for his leather pants this would have been done sooner. (I linked to a conversation between me and Emi. Warning: Quality screenshot editing) I have a few WIP shots on my sketch blog. ouo I'm getting back to commissions after this. This picture started out as a sketch, I SWEAR. I'm not even sorry, though. I REALLY love the way his hair turned out. In case it wasn't obvious, this is Hell Kaiser/Dark Zane from GX. He is not wearing his coat and he is indeed smoking. I don't personally believe Zane himself smokes, but I think he started when he became Hell Kaiser. Just a little tidbit. The premise of this peace is pretty angsty. Take it as you will, make your own stories up, I have my own. You can only assume from my track history that it has to do with Majesticshipping, Idolshipping, and Seto Kaiba LOL My favorite parts of this picture have to be the smoke and his hair. I love how they came out. I hope I didn't spam textures too much haha;; My mood music was a lot of Depeche Mode. A LOT OF IT.
