BASIC INFORMATION: Name: Thorn Nicknames: Frostbite Species: Shinlai Gender: Male Age: 34 (Young Adult) Birth Season: Winter, 1822 Height: 10 Length: 123 Weight: 5,300 lbs. Body Type: Lean, and little scrawny Voice type: Dry and scruffy Family: Friends: Lynndercote, Shinsen, Saica Allegiance: Neutral Area: Thorn lives in the Southern part of Falden, in the Tundra Politics: Thorn is a hermit, of sorts, so he tends to keep out of politics. Element: Water (sub category: Ice) ~*~ Physical Description: Shinlai Classification: Common Thick hair, with a long tail Facial classification: Rare - Two sets of eyes, plus Dailan. Face: Thorns face is long. He is quite handsome, with nice teeth. Horns: Thorn has long black horns that swoop back and curve forward. They have a large hole in each, where they were drilled from a human. They have 3 spikes that emit from the bottom curving upwards. They are hand painted with runes by a human in a blue color. In extended amount of time in cold weather, ice grows on the tops of his horns. Build: He is lean, a little short, with thin legs. Given the tole his element does to his body, he isnt in the greatest shape. His shoulder area is his only real scores of muscle on his body. The rest of him is mostly fur, so the cold goes right through him. For some reason its very hard for him to put on meat. Eye Color: Thorns eyes are a very light blue. Because they are so light, his eyesight has deteriorated over the years. Its not getting worse, but they are not as good as how they were in his pup years. Fur Color: Fur is a blue-ish teal color with a lighter blue underbelly. The color then comes up in a crescent shape right on his rib cage. All four of his feet have dark navy sock that fade upwards. His mane is also the navy color. Thorn has navy crescent shaped markings on the side of his shoulders and hips. His paw pads are a nice light blue color. He also has dark narvy circles under his eye, which are natural. Mask Color: Thorns Mask is made out of a solid piece of Ebony, it is worn down into a nice smooth surface. It is then hand painted with light blue accents, along with the water symbol on the forehead, Then sealed with a glossy finished. Scars: Has a barbwire scar on his right wrist thats pretty deep, but thats about it. He keeps his wrists covered with his leather bracers. Accessories: On Thorns horns are green like fabric laced between the holes, and on the base, for stylish view mostly. He also wears his Leather bracers on his front paws, and more green fabric on his ankles and tail. He also has these green tassel that hang from the lower front swirls in his mask. His most prized possession is his necklace. It hangs on a dark purple cord with a sliver clasp, and a light blue crystal on the end. ~*~ Personality: Positive Traits: determined, clear minded, down to earth, very mellow and quite, Introvert. Negative Traits: loner, not good with crowds, tends to insult people when he is trying to do the opposite. Misc: Likes: White meat, the snow. Dislikes: Interests/Hobbies: Goals/Ambitions: mastering his element. He essentially wants to make sure he can control his powers without hurting anyone. Fears: Thorn fears his powers loosing control. He fears if he hibernates too long he may never wake back up, therefore he chooses to practice on other things Diet: Thorn is omnivorous. But because of the color climate he lives in, vegetation is harder to come by. He hunts his own game. His diet consisting of mostly anything that is smaller than him. This is an old character from a story I scrapped about five or six years ago. Like most of my characters, I've never actually drawn him out. He's existed as a concept in my head all this time. Not sure what I'm going to do with him now. Maybe at some point I'll go back to that project.
He lives with and was raised by humans and their dogs. Because of that, he speaks in domestic dog dialect rather than coyote. (This was kind of important in the story I was working on. Dogs, wolves and coyotes often had trouble understanding each other due to the differences in speech.) Most of the dogs in Redhawk's village are named after birds of prey. That yawnface. I didn't use a reference, so it's probably a little off. He's also trying to smile at the same time, so it looks a little weird. Heeeh. |

Deep space dwagguns yeah :la: This took a while because there are a million light sources and I kept picking at it and not knowing when to call it done. But I need to just stop. I loved drawing these two though, their designs are BA and I hardly ever get a chance to draw dragons.
