But sometimes, just sometimes there are rare moments of clarity where he is able to see what he is becoming. And he sees a man inside his head - a much stronger and more serious business man, the man he has let in a long time ago when a tiny kid was hiding behind his favourite book. And maybe back then that kid happened to pick the wrong side - just because at the time that side seems strong, invincible and winning. ...is there such a thing as a wrong side? Was there a wrong side, Randy? But then the moment passes and Randy forgets to be afraid of the man inside his head and keeps playing with fire. I'm not trying to paint Randy (or the man in his head - people who have read The First Encounter know who he is - or any other villain) white but I think it's pretty fascinating how villains (not common criminals but real proper villains) are made.
