No shame! My boy (yes, my boyfriend is a brony) forced me to watch season 1 of My Little Pony with him. So naturally, I fell in love. This is my ponysona, Vanilla Bean! She owns an Icecream Parlor~ "Vanilla Bean" is a combination of my favorite scent and the nickname I had as a youngin.' I finally settled on a design, after trying several (which you can see here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7565296/)
I went with the fifth color palette, though I changed her eye color, and her donut's frosting to chocolate. Now, for a little background: I know you guys probably know that I had/have sort of a hate-boner for the whole Brony thing. But I finally started watching the show, which is cute and entertaining. I'm still far from being a brony, but I do like the show and the art. So of course the obvious questions of What Would My Pony Be Named and What Would Her Cutie Mark Be arose, and I gave it some passing thought. Then one night, in my dream, I was wracking my brain over it with gusto that I hadn't in my waking life, and came up with the idea. When I woke up, I remembered it, and unlike so many of my dream ideas, I actually really liked this one. Yes. My pony 'sona came to me in a dream. Heaven help me >_< I designed Baker to be chubby - you can see it in her chin, her tummy, and her butt. I mean, come on, she has a donut for a butt-picture, she's gonna be tubby. I've always preferred having short hair, so I gave her a cropped tail and a short mane. Pink and green is my favorite color combination, so that's what I went for first. She's a regular pony, because a) if she had wings, I doubt they'd be strong enough to lift her booty in the air, and b) I didn't want to draw a horn. So there you have it. |

So, after a million forevers, I made Naj's ref sheet! :O I wouldn't say she's my fursona or anything but she's a character I've been doodling ever since one of my friends suggested FA to me. :) Her name's pronounced NAH-juh (kind of like the word 'Not'), and she's a... weird thing I guess. She's a mixture of just some of my favorite animals: -Red Panda - Lion/Cat - Rabbit - Racoon - Some kind of hawk bird thing I think if I had to name her species it would have to be... a Recapanbagryff Don't ask why. I don't even know, man. I don't even know. So yeah, I refrained from doodling all over this character sheet. Though now it feels kind of naked. And... um... don't mind her underwear. I know how horrendously ugly it is. |
