school project, oil paint on canvas. touched up a little in photoshop. it still doesn't look as good and 3D as it does in person, though.

it's supposed to be obsidian-like crystals protruding over hot magma. however, other people see different things, such as looking up at a red sky out of a crystal canyon, etc. so, see what you will, and enjoy ^_^
