Alright, so, I wanted to make a character sheet for Skrrpt the
Archaeopteryx. My character sheets are pretty dull, so I wanted to try something completely different.
I really like how
MirrorEyesServal's latest sheet came out (
http://fav.me/d2ixqd6) so I wanted to try something like it. But, seeing as how Skrrpt is pretty much just an
Archaeopteryx in a guira cuckoo's skin, I didn't have any cool things to add to the sheet like Tiina had...and I'm not as talented as her. So, I decided, "Hey! I really like Audubon's prints (
http://blog.lib.umn.edu/willow/bioart/audubon_gallery_22.jpg), maybe I could do something like that!" (Which, in all honesty, is something I've been wanting to do with dinosaurs in general; Audubon-like prints of them, but in my own style.)
I'm surprisingly pleased with how this turned out, but then again, I love working with my markers. So, there you have it, little Skrrpts hanging out in a gingko tree. One is irritated, one has a NOM, and the other is preening.
I also goofed on the preening
Archaeopteryx's hand. The feathers are supposed to be attached to the second digit, but how I rendered them makes it look like they aren't. They are! I just didn't do a great job showing that.
I added a Step-by-Step of this piece so people can see how I do marker work,
seen here.
Note: The gingko is likely inaccurate for an
Archaeopteryx to have encountered, but I love ginkgo, so there you have it :)
