James is eccentric and frequently enjoys donning a flamboyant tin foil hat

he's also fully convinced he's a reindeer even though he doesn't much look like on body-wise. though he claims his unusually small horns are to help make the aliens think he's wimpy and not worth abducting. same with the tatty clothes. WHO WANTS A POOR WIMPY GUY, THATS NO GOOD FOR PROBING
